One commentPR News Wire Service
February 10th, 2010 (08:00 am)PR News Wire Service lets you convey your special messages to people around the world that matters. If you have developed a new technology, launched a new product or if your restaurant menu has some special menu items that the whole world doesn’t have, they are all news. Let PR News Wire Service take this news to the editors of several hundreds of newspapers, magazines, websites, news syndication sites, and more.
News delivery has evolved over the centuries and it has become easier for everyone to convey the message across. Press release services have changed its shaped several times before the digital delivery took place after Information Technology has changed everything.
Send Electronic Press Kit Instantly to Thousands of Editors
It is the latest thing and trend in news syndication. Just like the traditional press kit, electronic press kit too has all the details of the company or organization providing the news. Reporters might be a bit disappointed, as they can’t find the freebie items like notepads, pens, and other pleasantries they used to receive. It is a good thing for the companies that want to get their news published and the best thing, they can send the electronic media kit to editors located anywhere in the world and in a minute.
You can use web services to reach several thousands of editors who are looking for interesting news items for their newspaper, magazine, websites, etc. A stripped down version of the press kit or a simple press release too can be circulated, so that automated news syndication services can easily pick the news. It was not even imaginable not so far away.
Video News Release VNR
Internet too is fast becoming a video medium. Video news release is not just for the TV channels, but also for the internet. There are different websites that now offer people to host videos even without charging them anything. Video syndication sites make it easier for you to take your video news releases to people in your city and to around the world.
In both electronic press kit and video news release, you only need to provide newsworthy events like developments in new healthcare facilities, some entertainment news, and a lot more. Syndicate media outlet of any size or reputation can help you to take your message to the editors. However, appealing to them and letting your ‘news’ in is at the sole discretion of the editors. However, in most cases, you can get past the door by offering a good product an irresistible piece or well-presented news item.
Electronic press kits and video news release are becoming the norm of the day and syndicate media outlets also change their style of functioning. It is time for you to plan promotion through news through PR news wire services. Because, without people knowing the existence of your business, it is extremely difficult for it to survive, let alone succeed.
No commentsDeveloping a Successful Internet Marketing Strategy
February 7th, 2010 (04:41 pm)There is no magic pill for creating an effective internet marketing strategy. It all depends on your own individual situation and circumstances. Nonetheless, that is not to say that you can simply build a website, submit to search engines, sit back and watch those tens of thousands of dollars roll into your bank account from an exotic beach.
It’s not going to happen.
You must have a clear idea of where you are now and how you would like to see yourself in the future. You must have a clear plan. Assess your strengths and weaknesses. Know what need to learn and what you have to improve upon. An effective marketing strategy takes time and money.
First, decide on how you are going to generate income on the internet. Perhaps you’re thinking about an Adsense site. Or, perhaps you would like to set up an affiliate site, or promote a Clickbank product. Whatever you decide on, you should start by researching just what it takes to accomplish your goals. Just like other worthy life endeavors, internet marketing takes time and effort. Accurately assess your situation and avoid unrealistic expectations.
A good starting point is to browse and take part in internet marketing forums like The Warrior Forum and Digital Point. Search on the search engines as well as Ezine Articles and get as much information as you possibly can. Then take a moment to reflect upon and weigh the options to come up with a great marketing plan. Remember, when it comes to internet marketing, nothing is set in stone. Learn how others are successully earning money on the web to help you develop your own tactics.
To become a successful online entrepreneur you must identify who your customers are. Where do they go online? Do they hang out on forums, social networking sites, Facebook? Read forums, reviews, testimonials to learn as much as you can about your prospective customer base.
Put yourself in their shoes. What are they looking for? Can you fulfill their needs? What do you have to offer them? Why should they buy from you rather than from the competition? How do you make your products or services stand out above the crowd?
Look before you leap. Any successful marketing strategy begins with thorough research. Proper research can help prevent costly mistakes down the line. Should you make mistakes– everyone does– try to learn from them. Go back and study what you have been doing wrong. People buy stuff everyday– if they’re not buying from you, is it their fault or yours?
Identify your competitors. What are they doing to promote their online businesses? What are their strenghts and weaknesses? If they’re doing something that works, can you do it a little better? How might you improve on what they’re doing? You might even try something totally new altogether.
Once you’ve done your homework, put together a coherent, workable plan. A good plan is useless unless it is executed systematically and with discipline. While implementing your plan, you should constantly monitor your work. Carefully and accurately collect your data. Analyze what you’re doing right and what you’re doing wrong.
A systematic and disciplined implementation of your strategy does not mean you must repeat mistakes or confine yourself to failed actions. Understand that the market, and hence your marketing strategy, is fluid and dynamic. That means you must be able to adapt to the changing conditions and make changes as necessary. Mistakes are not only human and inevitable; they give you an opportunity to learn and grow, to avoid catastrophic ones that could end your dreams.
In the end a successful marketing tactic is a highly personal one tailored to your individual strengths, skills, knowledge, expertise, and most importantly, your experience. Meanwhile, never lose sight of your ultimate goal, which is to reach the financial independence that you’ve dreamed about.
Comments (3)Understanding Adsense
February 2nd, 2010 (09:58 pm)There are a lot of people out there making a lot of money using Adsense – however most of them are not telling their secrets – well not for free anyway.
I am going to assume a few things in this article to cut down the amount of introductory comments I have to make. Here is what I am assuming:
1. You have a blog/website. Most of the following tips will apply to other types of websites also.
2. You have read overview of Adsense and have some understanding of what it is.
3. You have read the program policies as outlined by Google. These give details of site eligibility, ad placements and other requirements for using the system.
The next question is: Is your blog suitable for Adsense? – Before you rush into signing up for Adsense expecting it to earn you a million dollars it is worth asking the question of whether Adsense is the right revenue strategy for your blog/Website.
There are some amazing success stories out there but I will be concentrating on only few elements that will impact your Adsense earning capacity the most:
Adsense revenue, traffic levels, high paying ads, relevant ads and optimally positioned and designed ads.
Every above elements contribute to the total revenue that your Adsense ads will produce. You should have all these elements as strong as possible, because otherwise it will hold back your potential earnings.
Traffic is of course very important, because the more people that see you Adsense Ads, the more likelihood there is that someone will click on them. Work on increasing your traffic levels and you should see an increase in your Adsense Revenue.
High paying ads are giving you the best payoff, if you don¡¦t have a list of high paying keywords, scroll down this article and click on the link on the bottom to go to getmemoney.net, and you will get 20 top paying adsense keywords to build your blog/website around.
Your ads have to be relevant. The ads are displayed by content of your blog/website, so increase the relevancy of your Ads to your content and you are one step closer to increasing your Adsense revenue.
The ads have to optimally positioned. You can choose any color scheme and position your ads anywhere on your blog/website, make sure they are visible and not outside content of your page. Put them in strategic places and blend them in the color scheme or your page.
How do you increase the traffic to your webpage then?
Quality, Interesting, Useful and Original Content – What are the blogs that people read the most? This is essential to increasing your readership unless you have some amazing trick to bring readers in.
Be generous with your links to other bloggers/websites big and small. You¡¦ll be surprised how many links come back your way. This not only brings traffic from their sites but helps your ranking in Google.
Update frequently. If you don’t update your blog/wesite content in over one month the previous interested readers will not come back.
In my next article I will be concentrating more on how to get more traffic to your website. Feel free to visit my getmemoney.net page (link below) for the highest paying adsense keywords at the monment.
One commentHow to build great software
February 1st, 2010 (09:32 pm)In this article I’m going to explain the top 10 software development fallacies my company avoids. By avoiding these myths and concentrating on excellence, we are able to make great quality software.
Myth 1) Software must be designed in detail before development starts, so that a clear plan can be out-layed.
The truth) The more complex a design, the more like software the design itself is. By perfecting a design, then writing the software to that design, you’re effectively writing the work twice. Instead, by doing just some simple design sketches and data modelling rather than a book-like design, a good development team can create a shell for the software and efficiently refine it towards the finished product. This process of refinement creates natural prototypes, allows easy adaptation when issues that would be unforseen by a design arise (or brought up as fresh concerns by a client), and the total process takes significantly less time. To pull this off requires a close team, skill, and experience, but it is by far the best option for the majority of situations.
Myth 2) There are programmers, designers, analysts, and users.
The truth) By structuring development so that all developers get some exposure to each part of the development process, skills may be shared and greater insight may be gained. If developers are encouraged to actually use the software then they can use that expertise to think of improvements that otherwise would not come to light.
Myth 3) A happy team is a productive team.
The truth) A team of people with a wide variety of natural skills, experience and concern, that criticises each other and argues vehemently over the smallest details, will bring up and resolve issues that otherwise would never be tackled. A furnace of relentless argument is the best way to forge understanding and reach perfection.
Myth 4) It’s important we understand our direction and don’t compromise with it.
The truth) Life is compromise, and compromise is not a weakness. There will always be issues (such as efficiency, budget, ease-of-use, power, scope, and the need for easy internationalisation) that cannot be simultaneously met without such compromise.
Myth 5) We know what the client wants, we know what the issues are.
The truth) Without constant re-evaluation, it is easy to lose track of the objective. Developers are often faced with problems to solve that they consider the issues, when those are in fact separated from the actual market goals and can become totally irrelevant. Developers must always understand the market goals and be able to adapt when other things change, or even the goals themselves change.
Myth 6) Bigger is better. Features are cool.
The truth) Features can easily confuse users, and their actual value should always be considered against the cost of confusion. In some cases it is sensible to actually remove working features due to such concerns.
Myth 7a) The customer is always right.
The truth) Most customers try hard not to look ignorant in front of software developers, and hence phrase their suggestions in a technical way. The effect is that often suggestions aren’t really appropriate, because they’re not founded on a solid understanding of technical issues.
Myth 7b) The customer is often wrong.
The truth) Although customers needs are often not best met by doing literally what they say, they always know what they want and why they want it – and usually for very good reason. Understand them and adapt what they say, discuss with them, but never ignore them.
Myth
Comment your code a lot.
The truth) Good code needs hardly any commenting, because sensible uses of naming and white-space are better alternatives. Comments should only ever explain the non-obvious, or provide standard API documentation.
Myth 9) Such and such is needed, such and such is great.
The truth) A bad workman blames his tools. Whilst some development tools aid development substantially, a good developer can do great results in most things served to them. There are a few exceptions, like Microsoft Access, or assembly language, but generally speaking the difference in quality results is much more due to the skills of the developers than the quality of their tools.
Myth 10) The customer will understand if there’s an efficient and easy-to-use interface.
The truth) The interface doesn’t just need to be easy-to-use, it needs to be navigatable without an overall systems understanding. Screens need to be self-describing.
Comments (2)Things to Consider When Looking for an Opportunity to Make Money Online
January 26th, 2010 (01:40 pm)If you are looking for an opportunity to make money online, there are some important things you are going to want to consider that will have a significant impact on weather you will be successful in making money online. So many people join opportunities and programs without taking the time to answer some very important questions and as a result are setting themselves up for failure. Understanding your skills and having an accurate idea of the resources you have at your disposal will greatly enhance your ability to find an opportunity that makes sense for you.
The first thing you absolutely must consider when looking for an opportunity to make money online is what type of marketing skills you have. Do you understand the marketing process and know how to market? The fact is your ability to have success online is directly linked to your understanding, knowledge, and ability of HOW TO MARKET! If you do not know how to market, you will fail online. Therefore, if you lack the understanding and knowledge of the overall marketing process and how to market, it is imperative you find someone who can mentor you and teach you how to market. There are programs out there where individuals offer quality training, support, and mentoring aimed at teaching people how to market. In order to be successful in making money online, you must know how to market. If you don’t know how, your best bet is to find someone to teach you.
When looking or an opportunity to make money online, you are also going to want to consider the time your advertising budget as well as the time you can commit to your business. The fact is if you do not have any type of advertising budget, you are going to have to rely on free marketing techniques and methods in order to drive traffic to your sites. To successfully implement free marketing mediums, they require an investment of your time. Therefore it is critical to asses the amount of time you can devote to a business and what type of marketing budget you have in place. These factors will have a significant impact on what marketing strategies you will be able to implement and have a direct impact on your success.
One last area you want to look at when trying to find an opportunity to make money online deals with your goals and expectations for the business. What type of expectations and goals do you have? What type of money are you looking to make? These are important questions you should answer. If you’re looking to make 1,000 per week, you would be hard pressed to do so selling affiliate products where you earn a commission of 10 per sale. The fact is some opportunities are more expensive but have greater upside in terms of the income they can generate. You will want to figure out what your goals are how they relate to the amount of money you can invest and make a decision accordingly.
In looking for an opportunity to make money online, you should address the above key questions. Doing so will better enable you to make a good decision with respect to the opportunity you decide on and ensure that it is a fit for your situation with respect to the skills you possess and the resources you have available to you.
